Holidays and Term Dates

Please do not take holidays in term time

Parents are strongly urged to avoid booking a family holiday during term time because it clearly states in Government policy that all children should by law attend school unless the child is ill or there are exceptional circumstances as to why it may be necessary for planned period of absence. 

If you need to take your child out of school during term ask us for a Leave of Absence Request Form as you will need the Headteacher’s permission to do so. These forms can be obtained from the Office or from the website, and all requests should be submitted at least two weeks before the first day of intended absence. A pupil's absence during term time can seriously disrupt their continuity of learning.
