Together we can make difference
At Braywood we strongly and warmly encourage parents to take an active part in their child's education and in the life of the school. A half-termly newsletter and a weekly email from Mrs Calvert and the office contains information about what is happening in school and what to look forward to in the near future. Events are also notified through pupil-post so it is worth checking your child’s book bags daily. In addition, teachers send a weekly email through eschools outlining what the children will be learning in the classroom. The PTA also has a regular bulletin, a PTA Facebook page and communicate through the school's WhatsApp.
There is a vast amount of information on our website. It is a communication tool for our whole community as well as providing a specific platform for pupils and parents. It is here where you will find an array of information regarding your child including their attendance rates, letters, newsletters and how to pay for events and school lunches.
We have an 'open door' policy and all teachers are available everyday in the playground before and after school to discuss any immediate concerns with parents on an informal basis. Alternatively, you can ring the school office to make an appointment. The headteacher is available at out parent forum meetings to discuss any parents' concerns or comments.
