How do I pay for services at Braywood?
All trips, coach journeys, school dinners and extended schools are charged through epay on our school eschools platform. This is the only way that parents can pay for these services and we are very grateful when parents support this system as it allows us to process our costs effectively.
Payment for clubs are either directed to the after school club provider and is paid either directly to this provider or sent to school in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the front with your child’s name and what it is for e.g. gym club.
Dinner Money
The cost of a school meal is £2.50.
We process the administration of school dinner money on behalf of our caterers, this means we record all meals eaten by your child and payments made. You pay through epay when your bill reaches £20.00.
We plan a wide range of extra-curricular trips and activities to enhance your child's education. Parents are asked to make a voluntary contribution towards some of these activities your child enjoys at school. No child should be excluded from these events on the grounds that their parents are unable to pay however if there is insufficient money the trip would have to be cancelled. All these are paid for on epay through eschools.
PTA Money
Events organised by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) are channelled via the office too.
Braywood Extended School
Early Bird Clubs
There is no need to book a place in the Early Bird Club, please note for their safety all children must be bought into the Club by an adult. Record your child’s arrival by signing them in on the attendance record sheet.
You will be invoiced by the Club Supervisor on a monthly basis for sessions attended and you can pay through epay. We accept childcare vouchers and have relationships with several providers already, just ask the Bursar for more information. If you pay large amounts regularly and wish to make direct bank transfers we can discuss setting this up
Squirrel Club
Please ensure you book your child/ren into the Squirrel Club in advance by emailing us with dates and sessions required (i.e. to 4.15 or to 5.30) on office@braywoodfirstschool.co.uk. We do accept bookings on the day, preferably before lunch to ensure we can plan meals. Please contact the main office on 01628 623660.
Please ensure you record the time your child/ren leave the Club by signing them out on the attendance record sheet.
The Bursar/supervisor is responsible for invoicing parents for the Squirrel club on a monthly basis. Payments for the Squirrel club should also be paid through the invoices attached to each parents' epay account. To ensure the accuracy of our accounts, parents must ensure they sign out on the attendance record sheet.

Free School Meals
If you think you are entitled to free school meals please let us know and we can help you through the application process. The current pupil premium is directly linked to free school meals so it will benefit Braywood financially if you apply even if you think your child will eat packed lunches. All applications are in confidence and your child will not be treated differently.
