Aspire, Learn, Achieve together
'For with God, nothing is impossible' Luke 1:37
We are a high performing school and have high standards from an average (or below average) standard. The children are excited to learn and respond well to a range of incentives. Year on year each class teacher ensures that over 90% of pupils in all classes attain expected standards (or mastery) due to a belief we can all aspire, learn and then achieve together.
Children understand how they can succeed and the overall ethos supports their goal. Inclusivity applies across the whole curriculum. Pupils with SEND or with any form of vulnerability achieve on a similar pattern to the whole school due to care, guidance and high expectations. Every child is special, and as such deserves to develop strength of character, resilient and emotional fortitude to succeed regardless of any barriers – ‘Valuing all God’s Children’
At Braywood we are relentless in our quest for excellence. As a result are standards are very high. Our Ofsted report rates our school as 'outstanding' and although the report was published in 2011 nothing has really changed since then; children still leave our school with some of the highest standards in the country for their age.
"Through the nurturing hands of God, we aspire for all children to become confident, emotionally resilient and compassionate individuals who achieve personal excellence through a strength of character and a of love of learning"
School Vision Statement
‘You truly have a wonderful school and some pretty good teachers too. What sets you apart from other schools is that you genuinely care about the children and make them feel special; with the time you invest in then which enables you to know and understand them as unique little people rather than just another child’
