There are a few changes to the organisation of our school from September and you should have received a letter on Wednesday with more details. This is attached for your convenience. This involves changes to our school uniform, a new start in Foundation, Y1 and Y2 of 8.30am and plans for our class meetings during the first week of September.
Sally Hackett has organised the latest fundraising initiative through Tesco to help us to purchase toys and games for the school. DO please go along and support us by donating your token.
Prices are going up everywhere and Caterlink have announced a rise in the cost of a child's school meal to £2.29 from September. All Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 children will still receive a universal free school meal. Just in case you are not aware, parents are able to use their childcare vouchers to pay for all of our extracurricular clubs after school including Braywood Extra.
On a final note, we have not managed to get a teaching student this year as the recruitment of prospective teachers is incredibly low. If you have a degree and can spare a year to train as a teacher on the job do, please let me know because Braywood could probably be your lead school. We have experienced mentors and have had huge amounts of success in the past.
