Dear Parents

Hope that you are all enjoying this lovely weather.

On Friday 1st April children will be enjoying our first Arts Festival. The theme is Music and drums. On Wednesday 6th April, Fantastic Fred will be helping the children think about their wellbeing and strategies to keep their mind-set strong. This is also our Pupil Parliament day where children will have the opportunity to share their thoughts with our Governors and PTA.

Fish and chip day is on Thursday 7th April.

Please be advised that our break time snacks are going back to being healthy snacks. Fruit is provided but if you would like your child to have their own snack it needs to be fruit please. The exception to this is on Thursday when the older children go swimming.

Please see attached the Easter Menu for children to choose on Wednesday 6th April and the proposed meal for the Queen's Jubilee.

After much deliberation we are having our first Easter Service in church. For the past two years these performances have been filmed but on Friday 8th April parents of children in Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 are invited into church to share a short enactment of the Easter story with Revd Ainsley. This will start at 1.30pm and all parents are welcome. All these children will have had a coach to St Michael's church in Bray and will need a packed lunch, drink and light coat (if cold) inside a rucksack. School packed lunches are available on this day.

The Easter break starts on Friday 8th March at 2pm. The children in church will not be brought back to school and our Foundation children can be collected from 1pm on this day so that you have time to go to church.

When we come back to school on Monday 25th April all pupils need to be in their summer uniform.

After the Easter break, our Year 3 and 4 pupils will start swimming on Thursday's. This will start on the first Thursday back and there are more details on the letter that was circulated last week regarding these arrangements. Windsor Leisure Centre are very strict in their dress code and children will not be able to participate if they do not have the correct swimming costume, goggles, hat etc.

We will also have our first Parent/Teacher/Child consultations which will start after the Easter break on Monday 25th April to Wednesday 27th April. You can book your appointment via eschools. The booking slots will open on Monday 28th March at 6.00pm and will close on Wednesday 6th April at 6.00pm.  The slots will be available to view on Sunday 27th March at 6.00pm.

There is a flyer attached advertising a role to run a Nutritional Ninjas after school club at school. There is also information attached to highlight next terms exciting after school clubs.

Do call if you have any questions

Kind regards
