Dear Parents,
I hope that you are all well.
These few weeks have flown past. I can't believe that we are almost at half term The school will be closing at 2pm on Friday 22nd October and we will return on Monday 1st November at 8.45am.
The PTA are having their annual AGM on Thursday 21st October at 6.30pm. Do please join us on this link.

Just before we break up, we are celebrating Halloween and children can dress up in Halloween costume on Friday 22nd October for £1 donation. There will be a cake sale from 1.30pm. Any contributions will be gratefully received. If you leave your cakes in the shelter and please remember no nuts. Please ensure that your child has warm clothes underneath their costume.
Watch out for my email on Friday as it should have the Harvest Festival performance attached. Some of the money we raise from the Halloween donations will go towards a local charity for Harvest.
Football will be taking place from 2-3pm on the last day of term.
Sadly, when we come back to school Julia Smith will no longer be with us. She is moving to live nearer her family. She will be greatly missed by all. During her time at Braywood she has worked brilliantly in many year groups and just recently has provided one-to-one support for a child in Year 1.
The Maidenhead Advertiser is publishing the First Class supplement this Thursday. If your child is a Little Acorn, do please look out for the photograph. will be in the Maidenhead Advertiser. There is a comprehensive choice of photos is already available to buy in hard copy or digital form from our website, visit www.baylismediaphotos.co.uk

There are plenty of trips next term. On Monday 18th November, Y1 have a virtual trip to Windsor Castle and Y3 children are going to Ufton Court on Tuesday 16th November. Year 2 will be going on a virtual RE trip and Y4 will be discovering more about Egyptians. We are all having online safety workshops during the first week back.
We plan to resume our 'catch-up' groups on Tuesday mornings from 8am. All classes will be joining in with this imitative and the timings for these sessions will be on our online calendar. These start on Monday 8th November. Your child’s teacher will inform your child is part of this group.
Thinking ahead the Christmas Concert will be on 8th and 9th December. We will be marking Armistice Day as usual and having a 'strictly theme' for Children in Need. More information to follow.
Please be advised that Squidgames which is showing on Netflix is not suitable for our young children to be watching. There are quite a lot of children who are talking about the programme that they are accessing through YouTube.
If you do have any Morrison's vouchers, we have signed up for this imitative. Please see the link https://my.morrisons.com/blog/community/good-to-grow/
Kind regards
Susan Calvert

Cookies set by the website owner or service provider (in this case, eSchools) are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third party cookies”. Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website or service you are using (such as advertising, interactive content and analytics). The third parties that set these third party cookies can recognise your computer both when it visits the website or service in question and also when it visits certain other websites or services.

Other cookies enable us and the third parties we work with to track and target the interests of visitors to our Services, and we refer to these as “advertising” or “analytical” cookies. For example, the embedding of YouTube and Vimeo videos, as added by individual schools, will require “advertising” cookies to be enabled in order to successfully play them. Schools that, for example, opt to track visitor data using Google Analytics will require “analytical” cookies to be enabled in order to do so. These third party cookies are used to tailor content and information that we may send or display to you and otherwise personalise your experience while interacting with our Services and to otherwise improve the functionality of the Services we provide. We also enable schools to employ cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with their use of our Services in order to allow them to track visitors to and interactions with their school website.
